Green Dot® Visa® Debit Card FAQs
Unlike a prepaid card, when you open a reloadable Green Dot Visa Debit Card you get a checking account. You can use your new debit card to direct deposit your paycheck and government benefits or receive funds from a short-term loan.
To file a dispute, please call us directly at 888-333-1360. Please note, you must wait for a pending transaction to post to your account before you can file a dispute. If you have issues related to the delivery, quality, or safety of the goods/services you purchased, you must resolve your dispute directly with the merchant.
We can deposit all or some of your paycheck (from your employer), the choice is yours! We can also deposit government benefits; however, if you choose to enroll, you will have to deposit the entire amount of the payment. These benefits include social security benefits, SSI (Supplemental Security Income), pension payments, railroad retirement benefits, defense finance and accounting service payments, state unemployment benefits, workers compensation or veterans’ benefits.
